Bratislava, May 27 (TASR) - The medical board of F.D. Roosevelt Hospital in Banska Bystrica has confirmed that Premier Robert Fico's condition is improving gradually based on the results of several examinations, the Government Office has reported.

Fico is being treated at the hospital following the assassination attempt on him that took place in Handlova on May 15. The premier suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The gunman was remanded in custody by the Specialised Criminal Court.
